OFFF

Our main focus as business – sell tickets for the annual Barcelona festival and we know that the majority of users come to our website for that. Short-term, our priority is to refresh the website for clarity and ease of use, while making sure OFFF Barcelona tickets remain front and center. At the same time, we are positioning ourself as a global platform for creative industry. So long-term, our ambition is to transform the website into a true global hub for the OFFF universe – uniting design and creativity festivals, original media content, educational initiatives, and community under one central platform.

We value its boldness – it doesn’t try to be everything, but speaks clearly and directly. The structure feels intuitive: you always know where you are. The use of spacious, intentional imagery (never oversaturated) keeps the content and vibe at the forefront. The current design, created by COLLINS for our 25th anniversary in 2025, captures OFFF’s role at the center of creative culture. Built around the concept of Centre OFFF Gravity, it reflects OFFF’s magnetic nature: a meeting point for diverse minds, and a platform that sparks and expands ideas. The identity is grounded yet forward-thinking, timeless yet provocative, mature yet expressive – qualities we want to preserve. We'd like to preserve the core of it but are open to discuss the refresh of some of the sections (for example, the homepage).

We’ve been pioneers in design and creativity conferences for over 25 years, opening the way for others to follow. We’re independent, not corporate, and our purpose is simple: to inspire and to create the perfect space for sharing ideas and creativity in real life. OFFF is a physical event but its ethos is its global community that spans students to professionals, all eager to stay connected with what’s happening in technology, art, design, music, cinema, and beyond. Our new website should reflect the duality: OFFF as a physical event in Barcelona, and OFFF as a global community. Long-term, this will evolve into a single entry point for the community: a place where they can find inspiration, engage with content, and easily access OFFF experiences. This may mean moving to offf.com – that combines global festival, along with media content, supported by a sophisticated CRM.

Some have built expansive brand universes around their platforms (Ars Electronica, Tomorrowland). Others create small events that feel huge in impact (Forward Festival, SXSW London). Some leverage large structures to access mainstream names (Adobe MAX). Others activate the public space with creative street actions (KIKK Festival). Some bring fresh, high-energy presence on social media (Us By Night).

The legacy and story of OFFF. Other OFFF festivals worldwide. Long-term: The website should feel like the OFFF global hub — the headquarters of the brand, with a simple system that connects users to every OFFF experience: OFFF Barcelona – The flagship event, clearly highlighting Barcelona as the main experience. Other OFFF Festivals worldwide – Local festivals (e.g., www.off.mx , www.offfsevilla.com , www.offfmontreal.com ) will keep their own domains but be accessible from the global hub. OFFF Studio (www.offf.studio ) – Our in-house production agency. OFFF Media (future) – A digital portal for industry news, insights, and creative inspiration.
